1. Why do planet positions differ slightly from my traditional print almanac?
Traditional print almanacs (Vakya Panchangams) rely on historical cyclical tables, whereas Drik Jyotish calculates exact planetary longitudes using real-time planetary positions (Swiss Ephemeris / Thirukanitham / Drik Siddhanta) corrected for your exact geographic coordinates and elevation.
2. Which Ayanamsa does Drik Jyotish use?
Our default sidereal framework utilizes the Lahiri (Chitra Paksha) Ayanamsa, the official standard recognized by the Government of India Calendar Reform Committee and Vedic astrologers worldwide.
3. How do I report a calculation discrepancy?
